This young lady is someone who I've shared so many stages of life with. I'm grateful for all of our adventures, our chats, our laughs, and our friendship. We met in grade nine through a mutual friend. We weren't that close from the beginning, but things changed and we had each other to lean on. We were roommates on our history trip across Europe - SUCH A DREAM. We have had many sleepovers, dance parties, and long talks.
She was there for me during some tough times and someone who will always hold a special place in my heart.
Honestly, though it’s kind of crazy.
I remember going for a walk at her place years ago and we were discussing babies. How many we want and what their names might be. Now she's expecting her first.
Even on a cold, winter day, when she was a little bit uncomfortable, she was a star in front of the camera. Her little man will be making an early appearance and since I was home, we decided to do an early maternity session before her baby shower. Even though I couldn't attend, it was nice to spend some time, just the two of us and allow me to see her to this next step (LOL I'm tearing up). But c'mon, look at her, she is GLOWING. My goodness. Absolutely beautiful.
Even though our lives sent us in different directions, I'm so honoured to be apart of this new chapter in her life. She has always been someone that I said would be the BEST mom and I know that she won't disappoint. I cannot wait to meet her little, handsome dude. He is going to be the cutest and I am so, so proud of her.
